Barry Whelan Acknowledgement

Barry Whelan Acknowledgement

Dublin, Blanchardstown

The family of the late Barry Whelan (Edgewood Lawn) & late of Molloys liquor stores wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our very sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our family, friends, neighbours, and well wishers who were there for us during our extremely difficult time. For all those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards, messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the emergency services who tended to Barry. To all those who participated in the mass, especially father Liam. To all the staff at Molloys liquor stores and finally Cunningham's funeral directors for their sensitive and professional handling of the arrangements.

For those who helped in any way your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

The Family would appreciate if you could leave a message to be put into a book of condolences for the family.

Lovely man to work with. Made me very welcome when I joined the team at Molloy’s. Will miss Barry “Baz” around the store very much. Sleep well my friend.

A man of dignity and strength. Selfless, hard-working and kind. Baz was a great team member and will be missed greatly.

I didn’t know Barry, but I’ve been a frequent customer of Molloy’s for a couple of years. I liked him a lot. He was professional, and obviously hard working and pleasant to deal with. A sad loss. May he rest in peace.
