I’m deeply saddened to learn just now of Tony’s passing, my sincerest condolences to all of Tony’s family. I visited Tony over the last two years via ALONE. I immensely enjoyed Tony’s company, stories and humour; meeting Tony for a cup of coffee in Royal Kilmainham Hospital during the pandemic was one of those things I always looked forward to. I particularly enjoyed Tony’s stories of life growing up in Dublin, the jokes he’d crack, and the handy bits of life advice he gave. Tony always spoke very fondly of his family and I know you were all terribly dear to him. May Tony rest in peace.
