Elizabeth (Betty) Hand (née Kearons)

HAND (née Kearons), Elizabeth (Betty) (Coolmine, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Carnlough Rd., Cabra, Dublin 7) February 21st, 2020 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tom) and much loved mother of Michael, Thomas, Richard and Martina. Betty will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, sister Eileen, brothers Andy and Richie, grandchildren Ronan and Dylan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Thursday evening (February 27th) between 6 o’c and 8:30 o’c.  Removal on Friday morning (February 28th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’c followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Irish Heart Foundation.

In memory of our mother Betty we would like to ask everyone to bring something bright to Mam’s funeral. Betty saw the best in everyone and everything.  For Betty’s running friends we ask them to wear your t-shirt with pride.
