Carmel Battersby

BATTERSBY (Nee McCaul) (Palmerstown, Dublin and formerly of Bawn, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan) January 21^st. 2023 (Peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip. Carmel, beloved wife of the late Vincent, dear mother of Dermot, Fergus, Vincent Jnr., Cormac, Manus, Gemma, Sabina and Sinead, devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister of the late Gerald. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Wednesday morning (25^th January) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00 am followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery, Dunboyne.
