The death has occurred of Catherine O’Higgins late of Chelsea, London and formerly of Blackhorse Ave, Navan Road, Dublin 7. After a long illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, Catherine passed away, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Charing Cross Hospital, London, on Sunday, 26th February 2023. Cherished daughter of the late Colm & Margaret O’Higgins, adored sister of Mary, Geraldine, Deirdre, Margaret, Thomas, Fergus, Bernadette, Noelle, Brendan & Lucy, devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Catherine will be sadly missed by her heartbroken siblings, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and a wide circle of wonderful friends in London & Dublin.
Following her cremation in London, a requiem mass will be held on Monday 20th March 2023 at 10am in St Mochta’s Church, Luttrellstown Road, Porterstown, Dublin 15, followed by burial in Castleknock Churchyard. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.
