Michael, may you rest in peace. Your Irish ME Trust Family provides help, support, connection and love to those of us lost, bewildered and suffering in the throes of our daily anti ME battle with Chronic Pain. Fatigue, Brain Fog … From our very first meeting and ME Therapy Retreat the Trust ended our isolation and helps us and our families in so many unquantifiable ways in our daily struggle with ME. Carmel and your family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Ar deis Dé go raibh do anam dílís. Ní beidh do leitheid árís ann. Míle Búiochas Michael. Bríd (MacSweeney).

Dear Michael,
Our friendship goes back many years … our common fight for the recognition of ME in our countries. We met at International ME Conferences. We exchanged thoughts on how to move forward, and shared ideas and experiences. Although our fights and struggles were hard, we also shared a lot of laughter and fun. You were such a good and kind friend, Micheal. I will always remember you with fond memories. Your sense of humor was much appreciated.
May you rest in peace.
Love from your friend in Norway; Ellen.
