Patrick Joseph Mackle

Castaheany, Dublin

MACKLE, Patrick Joseph, (Castaheany, Dublin 15 and formerly of Toomebridge, Co Antrim) on February 8th, 2021. Patrick died peacefully in the loving care of family and staff at Beaumont Hospital Dublin.  Beloved husband of Jean Mackle and much-loved father of Patricia, Karen, Anne Marie, Grainne, Mary, and the late Martin. Patrick will be sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

A private family requiem Mass will be held on February 11th, 2021. You are invited to leave messages of sympathy in the condolences section below. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to Silverstream Priory

Eternal rest grant on to him, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Amen

<p>Dearest Jean and girls, <br> I was so saddened this morning to hear of Pat&#8217;s illness and death. You are very blessed to have had such a lovely man as your husband and father. I only know Pat and Jean this past 6 years and never met any of you girls. Albeit a business relationship i never saw it this way. I saw him as a dear friend who was one of the most genuine sincere people I&#8217;ve ever met. We always shared a coffee and a good laugh and he was full of wisdom and good advice. He was determined to cure my chronic eczema with all his knowledge of every oil and herb going! His faith was amazing and he was so proud of his 5 girls and his beautiful wife Jean. <br> I wish you all the strength in the world to get through this. I just lost my mum suddenly in October and its not easy. My thoughts are with you all. My mum had great faith too and i do hope that my Mum and Dad get to meet Pat in heaven. <p>Dearest Jean and family, my deepest condolences during this most trying time. I have very vivid memories of Pat coming to help my Dad Harry with the fireplace on Pondview Crescent in Guelph. More recently though, I remember spending a lovely evening catching up with Pat and Jean when my Mom and I missed our flight back home to Toronto. At times, it is the unplanned visits that are the most appreciated. <br> It is true that Pat may have at times been the quietest one in the room but his presence was unmistakable. Rest in peace Pat, you will be missed by many.</p>
