I loved Catherine. After my mom died in 1971 (Mary Kate Conroy McCoy), Catherine took me under her loving wing and became a second mother to me despite the many miles that separated us. Catherine welcomed Dick and me when we went to Ireland. She used to make Dick a rhubarb pie when we visited. I can clearly remember Catherine climbing the stairs in her house with two hot water bottles in hand to put in our beds to warm them up for us. I have all her letters saved as they were so meaningful to me. What a special lady she was. She welcomed us with open arms. I know Catherine is with the Lord. She lead a wonderful life. So thankful she was in my life. I will always love her.
