Patrick Kriégel (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Paris, France) June 19th 2022. (peacefully) at home.
Beloved husband of Geraldine and dear father of the late Anastasia (Ana).
Sadly missed by his loving wife, Aaron, Bruno, Nathalie, Phillippe and all his loving family and friends.
Funeral Service on Thursday afternoon (23rd June) at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2pm.

Heartfelt condolences to Geraldine and all Patrick’s family and friends. I cannot even begin to imagine the depth of their grief. He is with his beloved daughter Ana now, who was by all accounts as decent and kind as Patrick was. I remember Patrick as a complete gentleman who taught French to a bunch of us rookie journalists and he was so patient with us despite our atrocious pronunciation. I remember him introducing himself to us and he said, with a gentle laugh, that we would find it easy to remember his name because it was the name of Ireland’s patron saint; the name suited him. May Patrick rest in peace.

I am so upset at this very sad story. Ana was a total beauty in photo although I did not know her. I am crying for her family, for herself and her dear Dad, Mam and family.
