Veronica was my Science in Society Lecturer at Maynooth University this past semester. I am so thankful to have gotten to know her, even from the other side of a screen. She brought a little bit of joy to the monotony of online lectures. She was such a light and I am so thankful to have engaged in discussion with her on the science of today. I offer her husband, children, and all her dear family the most sincere condolences and hope you can take solace in the fact that Veronica will never be forgotten. I wish God’s blessings upon all of you at this very sad time.

Remembering fondly the powerhouse that was Veronica; meals, laughs, and her massive love for her family (and of course Tommy the cat). Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

I am incredibly saddened to hear of Veronica’s passing and I send my deepest condolences to her family. Veronica was an exceptional lecturer and loved to encourage students to engage with one another over debate. I was always impressed with her quick wit and the incredible knowledge she had for what seemed to be for just about everything! The last class I thanked her for her patience with our assignments and she told us a story about never giving up on this student she had a few years ago. I think that is a perfect example of her character, generosity and just how lovely she was. Thinking of her family during this time, and want them to know she was an adored teacher to us all.
