It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of DEEGAN (née Burke), Eileen (late of Brickfield Drive, Crumlin, Dublin 12) who passed away peacefully on 7th August, 2025 (aged 93) in the tender and wonderful care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge.
Beloved wife of the late Bill. Predeceased by her parents Lily and John and her six sisters and four brothers.
A devoted mother to Maeve, Deirdre, Conor and Diarmaid, mother-in-law to Kieran, William, Ingrid and Grace, proud Nanny D of her grandchildren Eamonn, Garret, Darragh, Eoghan, Liam, Aoife, Ben, Stephanie, Hannah and Jack and adored great-grandmother of Amelie, James, Alex, Cillian, Ethan, Sophia, Conor and Aurelia.
Sadly missed by her wonderful nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
She will be remembered for her warmth, strength and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Reposing at Elm Hall Nursing Home on Monday evening (11th August) from 6pm to 8pm.
Removal to the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Dolphin’s Barn on Tuesday morning (12th August) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.
