I first met Owen and Mary at Mass in St Gabriel’s, Cabinteely, in the mid 1980s where he gave me my first lessons in serving the Old Rite. They were as friendly as they were lively, and their warmth & good sense were always a tonic. When my wife later came to know them she delighted in their company. Mary was engaging and forthright, a real force to be reckoned with but always courteous and considerate in dealing with people. Ní mbeidh a leithéid arís ann. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
